This is a cool looking vintage JVC b/w space age television in working condition made in Japan appx 40yrs ago and its one of the nicest sets I have seen. It's the scarce red deluxe model w/ clock and. the set is in nice shape with no cracks and I believe its called a Videosphere or Space Helmet due to it's futuristic styling. Its MOD so it fits right in with all those 60s Bond films and Austin Powers as well, Tt works well and gives a nice black and white picture which is fun to watch and though an analog set it should still work fine hooked up to a converter box or dvd or vcr. This would be a great set to hook up a DVD player to so you can watch vintage sci-fi or horror movies on it . The TV set is complete with the original base, antenna and chain and as mentioned I checked it out and it plays but as this is a vintage item appx 40yrs old it is being sold as a collectible. I quickly pluged the seperate clock unit in but I did not see the numbers move so it may need to be cleaned or tweaked.
